Homebase simplifies team management for small businesses but with Cash Out, they went a step further, giving hourly workers access to their earned income before payday. The feature had strong utility, but the mobile experience needed refinement to match the impact it aimed to have.

As Senior Product Designer, I led the design for the iOS and Android apps, focusing on incremental improvements to the Cash Out flow. Working closely with the product and research teams, we used data, user interviews, and A/B testing to inform changes that improved clarity, usability, and trust. I also supported the broader product team through UI cleanup, future concept exploration, and copywriting ensuring that Cash Out felt as reliable and thoughtful as the purpose it served.
