Boomerang, a part of RBC Ventures, is a platform created to facilitate interactive workshops that encourage retired and semi-retired individuals to form meaningful connections.

A successful story of a business able to pivot post-Covid, Boomerang is a community for people 50+ who are retired/semi-retired, and looking to connect through online classes.

Joining the team to assist them in navigating an online world, I was hired as Senior Product Designer and led the team from a design standpoint in migrating 10k+ users to a native app. Through user interviews and working closely with the operations team, we gained insights to help inform our designs across every aspect of Boomerang. As a senior product designer, I successfully redesigned the entire website, including making the copy as straightforward as possible to alleviate any friction.
